Our Herbold blades are produced from high quality 1.2379 (D2) material, with CNC equipment and heat treated in state-of-the-art furnaces. All Herbold blades are triple tempered for the best micro structure. The Herbold blades have excellent wear resistance, toughness and strength to ensure the best lifetime. For best lifetime when processing abrasive materials we also offer Herbold blades with TC inlay. These offer up to 10x longer lifetime between sharpening compared to 1.2379 (D2).
